Don't forget entertainment, you're also the band.
Yeah, I gig as a hobby but I think Id be sol on homeowners insurance if anything happened.
My guitars arent that expensive but, Id still be bummed if my Les Paul was stolen.
My guitars aren't, but my hands are. Good old Lloyds of London baby!
The coyotes are my backup singers .
That's the story it seems.
It keeps arsonists away.
Standard homeowners for the usual stuff, partscasters and whatever. The valuable stuff has a separate policy all their own.
My Pedesoli shotgun ensures my insurance at home, along with Mr Colt and the Beretta family, no outside insurance needed
Oh , and four Scottish Terriers
I still have a valid shotgun license the days of killing wild life are well gone.
But it’s still in place.
My old staffy too.
I have a vicious chihuahua. She guards my guitars even when I'm away.
This is me too. My camera, computer, and music gear is all covered by a valuable property rider on my renter’s policy.
Which reminds me, I need to add my 5622T to the list, I have declared it a keeper...
No special rider policy - they wanted $2500. + a year For a policy specifically for just my guitars. My normal homeowners policy only covers up to like $5K for all those items. I have camera’s mounted & recording. Alarm system! I’m sure there is a policy that is semi affordable, for guitars & others collectibles, I just didn’t pursue it. I have classic Insurance on my hot rods, that’s like $100. A car per year. I could justify like $500. A year for like $50K in coverage, maybe. If someone knows of a Insurance company especially for guitars?
