That's to say that you have an image. Most people we look up to in this guitar gassing world of ours have an image, and there's always a guitar that goes along with it. So I'm interested in hearing if you got any.

Not me. I have loads of guitars, they are mostly different from each other and I rarely get them out in public.

Not really. People know I play but I don't make it a focal point

I tend to use a particular guitar when I gig. For my duo gig, it's my PRS CE24. For my 5 piece band gig, this is shaping up to be my LP Standard. I have a series of Beatles T-Shirts I wear at gigs. In the summer, it's billowy "fat old man" shirts.

I guess you'd call that an image :).

This kind of begs another question, which @Stratoman10 touched on...how much does the fact that you play guitar and are a musician define you? For myself, in the past 4 years it's started to define me. I broke through some barriers and it's just taking off for me...a life's dream come true.

Oh. I got an image alright, but I don't think it involves guitars. :D

My wife seems to think it has to do with being a man-child. She could be right. :whistling:

Kind of I guess, people are forever asking me why I have longer fingernails on one hand.

I have no image other than the one in my own mind. Apparently it is much cooler than the real me.

I don't think I have an image per sé, but I am kinda sorta known as the goofus/oddball Flying V guy around certain parts, and that's fine with me because it's true!

I tend to like the classic, old school look, like something from 40+ years ago. I'm sure its not a coincidence with my age. Dress the same way too, Chuck Taylors, cap, plaid shirt - I'm comfortable being the stuck-in-time 70's teen at 52 years old. If you think about the 70's, guitar players (and gear) were never more revered.
