While I've taken care of it, and been careful, 2 years of hard playing and playing out... This is the wear and tear its accumulated... I love it to Death! I guess i have a distinctive rhythm pattern ...Relic what?

I don't really care about the damage just a few paint chips, gives it character especially above the neck pickup

Nice...it will only get cooler with age.I own a 2000 AVRI 62 in sunburst that looks like it went through world war 4 and it looks awesome that way....dents,chips,worn to the wood spots and faded finish.

Very pretty. I played a '57 RI in surf green here about a month ago. Needless to say....I want. I'm jealous. :p

You should sand it a lot so it looks old... Wait, Nevermind... Scars must be earned, and yours have been!

On one hand, its kinda cool that its got some natural wear patterns.
On the other hand, its a little disturbing that it hasn't held up very well for just 2 years of playing out.

That's proper wear right there, not that relicing rubbish. Looks great!

well ill say that i play it everyday and i can be a hard player sometime, and have been drunk quite a few times lol... strap pops off and it fell ect., however there is not any dings in the neck....i have been careful about catching it before the neck hits

That is one BEAUTIFUL Strat! Someday I will own an AVRI '57 as that is my dream guitar. Alas I will have to get my kids through college first. Luckily one is halfway through so [almost] one down and one to go!

Again, very nice guitar. I bet she sounds amazing.

Yeah. I'm not knocking it. I think it looks great! Honest wear beats that relic stuff hands down. Give it a couple MORE years, and it'll almost be broken in - Like a comfy pair of shoes.

I think in a few years it will look absolutely awesome. Now it's in the kind of in between state to where it's kinda beat up, in a decade or so if you keep playing it, it will look like a real 50s strat.
