some people, including myself, hate certain kinds of strap loks because the move the strap too far out from the guitar and cause the screws to eventually strip out the threads......at least that was the case for me when I used to use them. I just saw these and thought they were pretty cool and look even easier to use than the rubber washers. they even have a place for your cable.

I have no idea what they are made of. I probably wont get any because ive been using the rubber washers. but I might if the washers dry up and start cracking. I just saw them and thought maybe some of yous might like them.

That seems like a decent solution, I like the cord clip feature.

I'm a big fan of these planet waves planet lock straps -- no need to install anything, works on all guitars, and they lock up EZ :)

That's one of the reasons I prefer the Schaller; they don't stick out any farther than a standard strap button.

I just use rubber/neoprene washers from Ace Hardware. Cheap. And they are compatible with my straps from @Bodean. ... i soooo enjoy leather straps

Friday band practice my strap lock broke off... the hole got stripped... I got a little twig from outside, broke a piece in the hole, screwed in the screw... walah! tighter than ever!

Really love mine. I've been kickin ideas around in my head to get another 1 from him. The lp hangs in a different spot than the strat. Might even get a little color in the next one....a little
