Well it's 1:30pm Monday here, which make it 11:30pm Sunday in the US, so we are talking 11th hour and no other suggestions (nor votes) for Jam #83. That implies either overwhelming support or complete lack of interest. Either way here it is Jam #83, an AC/DC inspired homebrew. Don your school uniform ladies and gents and please if you title your track make sure the word "ROCK" is in there. We want authenticity folks.:):):)

    Part 1 [Chorus ??]
    4/4 | G / D / | A / / / | * 4 ( the A precedes the second bar - it's on beat 4 and 1/2)
    Part 2 [Verse ??]
    4/4 | E / / / | A / / / | * 4

Sorry Roger, didn't know there was a vote going on for #83 But your home brew sounds great and gets my vote!

    That’s a really great track!
If you don’t mind, could you tell us how you recorded it, what gear did you use??

    Thx Stark.

I bought a new Epiphone SG G-400 pro a few days prior and I really love it. Funnily, whenever I buy a new guitar, a song tends to just leap into mind.

So I am using the epi plugged into a POD (the original circa 1997) and switching to the Modern Class A amplifier(1996 Matchless Chieftain). There is a little bit of echo set on the POD.
This hit's the computer via an EDIROL external usb soundcard. I use an old version of SONAR LE, with base and drums coded on a piano role and thru to the softsynth that came with the EDIROL. Snare has a echo on it provided by SONAR LE.

It's old equipment and I have been trying to decide whether to update it all or just try harder at getting right. Time will tell

    Cheers
    Roger

Edit: The bass on this one is not quite there yet, I'll fix it up in the future

Edit: Oh yeah, using the bridge pickup

I haven't been able to pick up my guitar for a while again, so I've been concentrating on writing my own music and making backing tracks.

Here's my go at it. Open with a Tele, add a pinch of LP. And I tried to have lots of fun with double-stops too. And thanks for the cool collaboration here @roger@pennyflic. I love home-brews like this!

I will get on this tomorrow, But I have run through a lot of exercises today trying to get out of the "You still suck after 23 years" funk and my fingers are killing me.

I don't usually critique peoples posts because I am not very good at it and prefer to leave that to wordsmith more able than I. However being my own tune I will attempt a few comments.

@knh555: "HellsBells" I was "Thunderstruck". It's nice to see you "Back In Black" after being on the "Highway To Hell". "Have a drink on me" Kev cuz "You shook me all night long"

@Alan L Cole: Well what a heap of sht that was. Man if I had a nickel for every wrong note you hit I wouldn't be here listening to your Buillsht. You know Alan, I thought you were another lightening boy, but your not a lightening boy, your a chickensht.........chickenarze, chickensht..
