This is a clip of Fleetwood Mac miming to a shortened version of 'Oh Well'. There's an unusual mod to the Strat Jeremy Spencer is holding: the pickup selector switch is mounted vertically. Anyone else seen this done?

Just found this quote from Jeremy Spencer about that guitar:

[It]...was a 1958 Fender. I picked it up in Oakland 1968 for $120 when Gerry Garcia took Pete and me around a huge warehouse of second-hand guitars. Yes, the pick-up selector switch was just below the neck pick-up.
It was good guitar, and I had it for about 3 years, but I was never completely happy with a Strat until recently when I picked up a Mexican model (Strat, that is [IMG])

That's interesting from a historical perspective. In real life, I'd hate having the selector there--I'm just sure my picking hand would hit it by accident frequently.
