Nice sled, ride safe
Waiting for the checks to clear, just cleared today, stage 1 kit, removable windshield, removable locking saddle bags, removable sissy bar and back rest and passenger foot pegs.
Nice bike man … ride fast , ride forever , ride .
Thank you all for the congrats and well wishes. Just waiting for the checks to clear, just cleared today, installation of a stage 1 kit and tuning, removable windshield, removable locking saddle bags, removable sissy bar, back pad and passenger seat and passenger foot pegs. It seems, as usual, waiting is the hardest part.
Sorry for the somewhat double post.
Another Harley rider here as well
I currently have 4.
1981 FXB (Sturgis twin belt drive)
1992 Fatboy (Softail with a Shovelution engine)
A couple for sale... just sayin'
Great looking bike, Im sure you will get years of riding out of it.
I have motorcycle envy....
Dang, Granite, you're as bad as me, : Three here, 73 Superglide, 85 Sporty, and 02 Ultra Classic.
None for sale though.
classy ride! Enjoy!
If I were going to buy a Harley it would be a soft tail. Although years ago (when the EVO engine was fairly new) the FXRS lowrider convertible was looking tempting.
super nice bike!
here's the 08 crossbones I used to have
You will love it. Be careful when riding it. They will run over you.
I got this little Sportster that's 110 HP. I love this bike. Its hauls butt.
2014 Sportster Superlow, Hammer 1250, 30 degree reverse dome 10.5 to1 pistons. smash head work, 560 cams, S&S rockers and lifters. ported throttle body and intake, tuned by power vision
Hammer crush air cleaner, Barnett clutch
Supertrapp Supermegs exhaust
1200 gearing, super brace
Progressive suspension front & rear
I took the HD Rider's Course a couple of years ago but haven't found a bike yet.
Very nice!! Did you get to pick a song to play when then rolled it out for you? One of my buddies just bought a HD and was saying his dealer had the whole shop line up outside and blasted his "theme song" while they brought his new bike out (he said he asked for ZZ Top's La Grange and they obliged). He made it sound like all HD dealers do this.
Naw......they had me ring a bell while most of the employees chose a bike to honk the horn with. All is good. Update, my Rider's Academy class was moved up to this Saturday!
Best bike I have ever owned .. 08 dyna .. 103cu so much fun and so real .. you look great on your hog .. enjoy man
With those 3 Id say you got your bases covered, day rider, Bar hopper, cross country...
I like that. I like the older bikes as well. Closest to new I get is the 92, the engine is half Evo.
And you probably have more guitars then you need too...
I sit in a different pew, but in the same church- I have a lifelong motorcycle problem
Have a ball with your new ride
Hey that Softail Deluxe is one fine looking ride, it would be my first choice for a softail any day. I’ve owned a few
Harleys over the years, got hooked on them back in 76 when I had my first ride. Love the low end torque and lumpy idle they have. Like riding a tractor with gobs of low end power that makes it great for 2 up riding especially in hilly areas. Never have to down shift just 1/4 twist of the throttle and it just walks a hill. My currant bike is a RoadKing, went that route because at the time was 2 up riding and nothing rides like a FLH Touring bike on the open road. My wife ended up getting her own 1200 Custom Sportster. Rode together for several years but she had to give it up due to health issues so
now the Sporty is basically mine. Both bikes are low milage, not a mark on them and loaded with more Chrome. Sometimes I spend more time polishing then riding.
My hats off to riders. I very much enjoyed it but other people scared me to death. Be careful out there!
