Actually on #1 I meant the top to bottom grain. Is that called something specific?
I reckon the Blueberry is probably a love hate thing but i personally like them. They really bring something unique to the table for a gibby IMO.

That's just a regular AA top. Its just how it has made.
The blueberry is kinda a love it or hate it. I like it.

I would love to have one of those custom pros in Aqua Blue

The bridge is a locking Faber ABR-1. The original ToM is quite OK, tucked away in the case.

A one time image of the fugly original Witch hat knobs:

Modern Schaller 16:1 tuners with the original Grover washers:

Upgraded the pots and caps over a year ago. The pickup leads in the first image are from DiMarzio PAFs that had been in it since 1978. Made the controls truly useful for the first time. Highly recommended upgrade!

She is that. Sadly, I just couldn’t bond with the thin, wide neck. I felt bad about not getting her out much, so I found her a new home.
...and then I took the proceeds, and bought a Player Tele double humbucker. Feels more like home to me.

Les Pauls are damn sexy beasts, alright. But over the years, mine have taken a back seat to Teles and Strats.

I’m down to two Lesters at this point, neither of which I play... but they look great as wall-hangers.
