I like that I've noted the colour I have a stripped Tele that needs a finish.

I made this one. I always thought the 72 Tele Deluxe should have a neck like this, it just seems to fit with the times better. So I custom spec'd this one from Warmoth. It is a compound Radius board, block inlays, ivoroid binding. It is a 2016 MiM 72 Telecaster Deluxe body. The pickups and wiring were less than optimal. Got a wiring harness from 920D and the Wide Range Humbuckers are from Brandonwound. I really really like it a lot. It is "done" for now but I'm VERY seriously thinking about giving it the Fender J5 Triple Telecaster Deluxe treatment, which would mean installing a middle Wide Range Humbucker and routing out for and installing a Strat Trem. Don't know if I'd even bother wiring the middle pickup. I just love the way they look. (If it weren't for that chrome pickguard!)

My Tele is getting wired up this week - should be ready to go soon:

My Strat is actually coming along too - better than this pic shows. Trem installed, tuners installed, loaded pickguards getting dropped off for final wiring - then will be put on guitar and then the neck installed and a couple hours of setup later, should be good to go!

My Walnut tele is finished. I bought a body blank from the guys at guitarbuild.co.uk and set about routing and binding it. It was then finished with just enough Tru oil to give a high gloss but allow a little grain to show (bout 15 thin coats) fitted it out with tone rider pups and a Wilkinson bridge. The neck is from Hosco, seems nice quality, I veneered the head with a walnut veneer and again Wilkinson ez lok tuners and finished with tru oil. First body build from scratch and it’s gone rather well. Next time I will tackle a neck too, maybe a Les Paul junior style( sorry, might be a dirty word on here lol)

I would love to know your thoughts on the Hosco neck I haven’t come across them yet just about to google them.

Seems good for the money, straight and the fret werr pretty level, little bit of filing on the edges, but minimum. I’d buy again

Not to be confused with all the beautiful guitars everybody else built from scratch. This was completely out of online purchased parts. She plays awesome though. I am starting a identical Strat in a couple of weeks.

No, I bought it that way. Someday I would love to build from scratch but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

eBay, google, loads of other suppliers and most likely cheaper than warmoth!
