My main enjoyment from guitar is creating original music. I approach it like a painter...I "paint" the song and move on to the next one.

    Video Format:

    - Title/Writer/Date
    - Performance
    - Credits/Equipment Used
    - note: best sound is on headphones or external speakers

    Method/Rational:

    - seeking a "real" sound, i.e. this is exactly what you'd hear if you were standing in the room
    - Zoom-Q8 video camera used for songs recorded from #16 forward
    - the songs are recorded in one take
    - the audio is recorded by the camera's mic; no enhancements/no direct audio
    - note: background noise may occasionally be heard

    Thank you for your time.

Well from what I'm hearing there your fear was unfounded. You've got some nice chops and a great sense of rhythm. You should join in on the challenges one day.

    Hello,

Yeah, it looked like you were having a good-old-time, & that amp was sounding quite nice too ! (The picture & stereo are awesome btw LOL) !

Post more when you can, the production & sound is quite acceptable I thought.

    Ciao,

    Rastus

That was sweet. Great playing MK. So creative and precise. Nice sound out of the camera mic ... of course it would also sound pretty fine mixed through a DAW.

Answers to a few comments posted so far...
    - the picture is from allposters.com, it's a photo quality print (I don't know what kind of guitar)
    - my "amp" isn't a guitar amp at all, it's an Avid Eleven Rack (pretty high praise to them if it sounds like a true amp)
    - all the sounds come through a PA system, Fender Passport Pro 500
    - the guitar color is Bordeaux Metallic (American Standard Stratocaster 2015)

Thanks for all the great feedback!

    Great stuff,

That was cruising along nicely !!! Lot's of folks I think don't realize how good a PA actually sounds with a reasonable processor, & the added functions you can do with it.

Your guitar & playing sounded great !

    Cheers,

    Hello,

Your sound has improved a heck-of-a-lot ! - Though this wasn't too bad a recording once your ears adjust to be honest.

I love your guitar lines & tone, they keep you engaged the whole time & never get boring. And there's some great licks well worth stealing too ! That Telecaster looks great in Red.

    Keep them coming.

Hey, good to see you posting up another. This is fantastic. You combine a lot of elements like rock, country, blues, boogie woogie, etc really well. I agree with Rastus. That's a beautiful red Tele.

    Keep 'em coming!
