you read it. It’s not a competition, but if you post yourself.. you automatically lose. Try to post vids or other music.

I’ll start with my vote: Sithu Aye. @C2aye

Absolute monster on the guitar. Mind blowing. I was lucky enough to talk to him here, and he’s pretty famous in his genre now.

I’ve heard (and seen via YouTube) several Strat Talkers that I would gladly pay $$$ to see. But I can’t pick a favorite.

    I am.

I managed to play 3 wrong chords at the same time once. Bet @C2aye never did that.

Exactly. I've had the pleasure to have met, listened to and hopefully learned from some phenomenal players here. I'll try to dig out some especially great examples later.

    Uffe Steen.

He can sit down, relax, & make his Stratocaster sound like a full 120-piece orchestra.

A nice place to be if you can find the time to study & climb that high IMO...

That said, there's a great many guitar-slingers on-board here, have NO doubt...It doesn't seem right to name them however, simply because you can & will miss someone out.

Mouse has departed us, & seem to be on permanent sabbatical, but his contributions have surely helped countless members that had taken the time to watch his most excellent home productions, all in an effort to teach-us-tunes.

    Cheers,

    Rastus

Uffe is a 'must check out' player. Here he is just noodling to a loop he created. There's plenty more on YouTube:

See, how did I forgot about him?

    He is beyond fantastic.

It's impossible for me to make even a fairly complete list, simply too many great musicians here.

While I know this thread is really about absolute excellence, I'd like to reference some of the guitarists on S-T who I feel have developed most in the time I've known them. @montemerrick, @Mansonienne, and @Omar. They have grown so much as musicians, and put in so much hard work, I want to congratulate them on how far they have come.

Had I started out with even an ounce of their innate talent, you'd probably be complaining about the price of my concert tickets. :)
