oooh! You're in for a good time with that!
This is my first Post on Strat-Talk & actually my first anywhere! I say this because I missed the section to write a comment! LOL! I’ve wanted a Ron Kirn build for at least a year or two & I finally pulled the trigger! Ron has been great to deal with from the start! I’ll stop here & post more pics as the build continues! My first Hand-Built Guitar! I’m excited!
I’m feeling that already! Thanks!
Salute Gunny, and welcome to the forum... I couldn't think of a better way to join the party..
I'm confused, you have 74 posts showing dating back just over a year. How is this your first post on ST?
I guess I’m not savy with the terminology. I was thinking a Post was when you started a.... Talk/Discussion?
Thanks R. Thanks Ron! Aren’t you supposed to be working on my guitar? LOL!
Thread: when you start a topic. Post: commenting on someone's thread.
Congrats, that thing is going to be amazing. I'd watch a Ron Kirn tv show... Ron, you ever call DIY or PBS? Lots of funding money out there for production!
It is at this moment, wet and grey.... it'll sit for a few days as the primer cures.. then it gets sanded off... then the color goes on...
Congratulations, I think you'll be very happy when it's done.
Too bad the next few weeks will feel seem like an eternity
That’s way cool!
Thanks for terminology definition! I had no idea!
Please continue to post progress. I really enjoy RK build threads.
. I love the pic from the side view! The flowing curves are fantastic!
Congrats, I'm sure it's gonna be an awesome guitar.
Those curves are sexy!
What color did you chose?
1970-71 Orbital Orange! I’ve painted this color on a few bikes mainly as accent stripes & one flame job! My Wife said, “Are you serious? Why orange? I think it’s pretty evident! LOL!
It looks like it's going to be GTO Orange according to the pics. Very cool.
Is that your car?
