1970-1971 GTO Judge Orbital Orange! Thanks!
No, I was asked what color I chose for my Ron Kirn Strat!
Wow, smokin job Gunny. Cant wait to see it complete and hope it works out perfectly for you......
I’m very confident that it will! RK let me choose any & everything I wanted plus I fully aware of his craftsmanship! Thanks!
I envious. A Ron Kirn guitar built to your specifications is treat many of us would love to enjoy one day.
Thats gonna be sweet! Love a orange color like that on a guitar.
Oh yeah! I love watching Ron Kirn builds. Sweet color choice too
It’s Sealed & Ron will be sanding/painting after appropriate cure time!! Yahoo! You guys that liked the color..... He shows a gallon of paint so you could most likely order 20 of this color comfortably? Maybe comfortably! Not long now!
Yup. I’d even take one built to Ron’s favorite specs!
I’d go for a thicker neck if I was you!!
I did! It’s the same width & thickness as my 58 es335 ri with 22 frets!
Ron has the color on! The next step I believe is color sanding, then clear waiting a few weeks to cure more color sanding, a good buffing & assembly!!! My girl is shown with a few of her siblings in the last pic! They’re all looking very fine to me! Thanks Ron!
Jeez!! It’s Monday morning and I added an update to the front instead of here! Here’s the pics from this weekend!
I’ll leave my editorial off this time! I’m thinking the pics are the main subject! Cure time! Clear & more cure time! Thanks Again Ron!
Mr. Oldschool! I messed up on posting pics on my thread! Feel free to delete some of my repeat pics! I’ll get this down soon! Maybe?!!
Hurry up, Ron! I want to see it finished!
I’ve been biting my tongue to appear patient!!! Thanks Mr. Bear!!
Hey I think I spy mine second from the left, btw love the color you chose Gunny!
so she's been "hangin'" for a couple of weeks... I'll probably be able to polish and assemble her next week.... wait till ya see the 400 year old next one the 'ol Gunny's got in the works...
Oops.. caveat.... waiting on the neck... which I hope was shipped yesterday....
I'm not sure you have the right guitar builder. That paint is for "Ron Kim".
Dang, I want to see some pics of that one.
