    after several failures with different paint, i finally found one that will work

    its not a strat, but i thought i would share

    So if you can swirl paint a guitar in a few minutes, why do we bother with 50billion (exaggerated) sprayed coats and weeks of waiting and sanding? What if you just put regular single color paint in the tub?

    That's either a real cool paint job or I'm finally getting the flashbacks they promised me.

    He only needs like half a bajillion coats of clear coat..plus decades of colour sanding and months of polishing.

    2 coats of clear and only a couple of hours sanding and polishing

    It would look blotchy and the paint would be thin in places.

    The swirl isn’t perfect but the multiple colors hide all the imperfections and almost add to the swirl
