    I've got a brand new one that has just up and QUIT! No volume. Lights work but no sound. Used maybe 10 minutes. Not sure what to do.

    Have you checked the output jack on your guitar ?

    Yep try another guitar,check your amp settings as well as the volume control on the guutars.

    I've had my Champion 40 for about 5 years now. No problems, good sound, loud enough for my purposes and very portable. I did change the stock speaker out for an Eminence Legend. This made the amp sound better to my ears. Mine has been very dependable.
