Bought an approx. $350 or so Warmoth Birdseye Maple/Rosewood Strat neck for $95. It was a super-wide (1-7/8") nut version. It was fun for a while but the fun wore off and I needed to make it less wide more like my 1-11/16" wide necks. I am gonna try it slightly wider than the 1-11/16" though by .037" to see how I like it. So I decided what the heck and am doing it myself. It is turning out very well by taking my time and taking off the same amount from each side. Once I was getting close I clamped a straight edge to it to get it perfectly straight.
I plan on installing a Zero-Glide zero fret nut on it like every other guitar I have has on it.

Almost finished down to 1-11/16" then to sand the original finish and apply tung oil finish.
