....and darn well worth it
but I wouldn't want to be the guy that has to clean those tires
Hard to top New Puppy Day. My sis and her hubby are waiting for theirs. They're getting an Irish Wolfhound to be a playmate for their Bernese Mountain Dog
Congratulations on the new family member! Dogs are great. We have two Beagles that are spoiled but loved.
My bass player has a Bernese named Bernice.....Great dog!
Happy New Puppy Day.
Make sure to educate him well enough until it is too late xD.
Life is good,
I have a friend that's a Marine Corps dog trainer....He's going to take an active role in this young mans education.
No one wants a 200 pound dog that won't listen.
Right now, every day is a little like NPD , because little Zeus is alive . He didn't have an inoperable tumor, it was taken out
one month ago . He hasn't reacted badly to chemo, and is eating the human equivalent of 200 lbs. of food a day * .
We are not counting the days he has left -because we don't know- but are making every day count, and be a special day for him .
He's a little old man now, but has regained some of his puppy-like joy , and that brings the missus and I great relief and gratitude
I wasn't a dog person until I was 51, but now it's hopeless.
I like reading all dog posts here because I know people love their pooches .
Charlie Fred is way more dog than I could deal with , but the little
guys are just as much dog, crammed into more conveniently-sized packages
Happy New Charlie Day ... you got a good one there !
Be careful with his weight. Big for bigs sake is not a good thing. Keep him on the lean side, it will help with stress on his hips and elbows later in his life.
Happy new puppy day!
I often "joke" about preferring dogs to people.
But I'm not joking.
Dogs > people
We are already working with our vet and our trainer on regulating his weight with measured meals and weekly weigh ins and exercise, since we plan on showing him when he gets older, we want to make sure he is in perfect condition.
Congrats on a beautiful pup.
Could not agree more and I trust their judgment as far as other people are concerned.
I agree, if a dog doesn't like someone, chances are there is a reason
This thread was the highlight of my day, congrats
Congratulations on your pup! I made the plunge too. I'm searching the house for lost picks to keep this stinker safe.
Not a Mastiff...but he poops like one.
I'm still laughing about Fred following Charlie around in this
I had a Springer in the 70's, his name was "Fred the Dog" He was a wonderful dog!
I helped a very sweet puppy be adopted to good home yesterday. that's my day job .
