I have five dogs ,4 Scotties and this fellow, who is not fond of lead guitar, as you can see on the look on his face, he's quite a good vocalist to Pink Floyd songs though

Awesome! I love LPB, and that's a cool guitar. Apparently I need a 12 string electric. GAS never ends.

Thanks! Maybe you could help me ; Is it just me or Japanese Solid Colors are slightly off? This LPB is much more clear and metalic than what I expected. (Based on the previous LPB I've seen)Are they using same color code?

Lake Placid Blue varies a lot. I bought a Fender Japan Strat in 1987 & it was one of the brightest versions I've seen. My '83 AVRI is a much mellower colour. And the Mexican Thinline Tele is just a bit more low-key than either of them.

I'm glad @stratman323 has you taken care of, 'cause I'm really not up to speed on Fender color standards unfortunately.

Well, thanks for you help. Still, the closet color I have found online is that Hot Rod. There's a hint of green in the blue. Very peculiar. I've never seen another Fender like that, and I've seen my share of LPB.

Congrats! Now you should def do the pull pot mod that connects your Bridge PU to your Neck PU. Which will give you that super jangly tone. Common strat mod.
