Needed a guitar for some ‘rock’ type stuff i’m doing at the moment so it was a good excuse. Humbucker is a bit ‘full on’ for my usual tastes but great for what I need it for. Great range of tones with the mini-toggle, although remains to be seen whether it will be an S1 style unused addition

Outstanding instruments!! I had one of these back in the early '90s - solid state PUPs & preamp. It remains one of the finest guitars I've owned... I so regret parting with it (a trade-in for an American Vintage '57 Strat, which I still own). Well done on your acquisition!!

The old block logo blades were fantastic guitars, they had a slightly different shaped headstock to this though. I’ve never heard anyone say a bad thing about Levinson guitars.

Nick Mcabe from the Verve always plays one..

Congrats! Great looking guitar. I've been watching those for about 3 years and have always been temped. They have great wood grain and look fabulous!

    Beautiful! Congrats & enjoy

    I have a RH-1 and a RH-2 and they're both brilliant guitars.

    Looks great!
What does the mini toggle do? Looks like 3 position. Series/Parallel/single?

Switches the VSC (variable spectrum control) preamp. Up position is usually cut, middle position is off (passive) and down position is boost. Can be adjusted from the three mini pots at the back of the guitar.

The tone control should be push/pull to split bridge humbucker.

Luther Allison used to play the hell out of those things ... sounded awesome
