I tend to not sell or trade anything these days. I don’t know how you did it.
Congrats! How much did your LP weigh?
Very nice !!
That is sooooo nice!
Best of health to play your new Strat.
HNGD!!! And you did good
Thanks again everyone!!! A truly magnificent beast it is!!! Lone Wolf asked what did the LP weight, I don't have an exact weight, but according to the salesperson I bought it from, he said it was over 12 lbs. All I know, it hurt my shoulder standing and it was killing my leg sitting.
Here is another unusual thing I just spotted last night ---- it has two volume knobs instead of the volume, tone, tone. I'm surprised nobody else spotted that one. Kind of makes it unique I guess. But I think I will speak with the store I bought it at and get the proper control knob.
I sold my Les and got a Strat years ago.....one of the best moves I ever made.
Some of us are just Fender people!
Very nice looking Strat! I bet it plays amazing!
I made a similar trade years ago - I let a Gibson SG standard go for a Fender 52 AVRI Tele. Didn't ever regret it. I know a lot of people get dazzled by the generally higher price tags on Gibsons but really, Fenders are better instruments all round.
But I am
I mean, as much as I love my Strats, they are not LP, and if you ever need a thick HB sound they are the way to go. I get the weight is a problem, but Id regret selling my LP styled guitar just cuz of the sound ill be missing. I can play it sat down, use it for recordings, there is more than just standing up live gigs in life. Ofc thats my humble opinion and it may be offtopic too. Anyway it was just a comment.
Hope the OP has a blast with his casters!!!
Congratulations! Glad you're happy with it.
It's interesting how some people love the neck on the Professional. The change to the "Modern C" neck makes my hand cramp in under 2 minutes of play. It just displaces my thumb the wrong way. The Standard, Deluxe and Elites feel much better to my left hand. But I do think the pickups were a major upgrade for the Strat.
Nice top. I just sold my last Gibson Les Paul.
I'm just playing Strat's cuz I bond with them the best.
I get plenty of thick heavy tone with a Bogner La Grange or Barber Direct Drive Compact through my Marshall Origin 50.
I’ve clicked and, much as I love your Strat, the girlies round the edge are kinda distracting me !
HNGD and it sure is a beauty.
If I may though it does look as though it may be in need of some attention on the bridge/vibrato height? It seems inordinately high in some of the pics.
I did try so hard to bond with my Les Paul... The happiest moments with that guitar were when I bought it, and when I sold it.
