I didn't know that Peavey made guitars but I found this gem at a pawn shop in new condition for 40.00 out the door. This a Peavey Raptor HSS, and it sounds amazing, has a 12 inch radius, so it plays very easy, the build q is perfect. These are somewhat rare, but its a real keeper for me, .....Poppa 1441152344282.jpg 1441152344841.jpg 1441152342374.jpg

Thanks. Those Raptors are pretty good too. I wanted a maple fingerboard, all my life I played rosewood or ebony boards. I think you can find easily another one. A member here that was replying to this topic has one for sale on my local CL for $185 or so... a black one with white pickguard. ;-)

Just so you know I just bought the twin to your guitar. And it has 500 k pots . lol that's how I found this forum. I am going through the whole guitar top to bottom.
This is a nice guitar I can't wait to play it .

Great bargains in a well made great sounding S-type guitar. Enjoy yours.

    Pryor ok
I have a '91 predator I got at a pawn shop for $ 70. I like it so well I did an upgrade. Tone man pots for 50's strat. 5 way switch, and US tone pickups on seymour design. Put all this on a pickguard. Got around $140 in the upgrade. Sounds as good as it plays now.

Welcome to Strat Talk! Yes, that’s what I did to my 1992. I’m planning on proper nut, wiring and different pickups.

Hey that’s great! And also welcome to the forum, lots of fun around here. I think the white was the best color they have made:whistling: congrats on the guitar hopefully you’ll enjoy her as much as I do enjoy mine.

This Predator (Made in Meridian) tips the scale at just over 8 lbs.
