Well, I did it. I traded my blue partscaster for a VM Jaguar. Not sure if I'm going to like it or not. I guess I'll find out.

HNG Day! What colour is that? One pic looks like a faded sonic blue and the other looks like a daphne blue.

Fantastic! I love my HH Jag. I would recommend a guitar stand ASAP though; the slanted cut on the butt-side makes the want to tip over easily.

I had a Jaguar and if it weren't for the Strat, I believe that would be the electric of my choice. Great guitars, really comfortable.

They are awesome guitars. The vintage modified line is great. I love mine and unusually I’ve made no mods! That’s how good it is

It's the scale length that has always kept me away from them. If they made a 25.5 scale Jag I'd be all over it. And that seafoam green like yours would be my color of choice.

I had one of these guys, and I regret selling the damn thing.
Only mod was the tunomatic bridge, that made it play and sound much better for me.
I know there are other more traditional bridges, but I guess I went the J Mascis route.

These are great entry level Jags. I had one in Surf green and only sold it to move up to a johnny marr Jag. Don't use anything less than 10.5 gauge strings, put clear nail polish on the grub screws of the bridge and if the bridge still gives you trouble look for a Mustang bridge or a Staytrem.

Edit: I see it has a Buzzstop. Get rid of that thing! It stiffens the trem.

I had one of those in white many years ago. Super nice guitars. Squier really hit a home run with the Vintage Modified series.
