Tried this vs Boss Wazacraft. This was more straightforward and easier to bond with. I have found less is more a lot of the time. Plus it’s Green and White 5B31E5A8-4E9D-4607-A9DA-EF5D00067C55.jpeg

Great pedal! And I agree, for me, less is almost always more. If I had a Strymon Timeline It would take me so long to figure it out that I'd forget what I bought it for in the meanwhile...

Best wishes with it! It's popular for a good reason...!

Outstanding pedal. I have both the CC and the Deluxe and don't think I could part with either one of them. You made the right choice in purchasing it over the Boss pedal. Nobody should go without a Carbon Copy. HNPD!!

I had a chance to dial up the towering dirt/drive with the CC last night. Wow instant guitar god on leads! Really fun

I've had mine for a little over 5 years now. 4 years ago I modded it with a controller that makes it very similar to the deluxe version. Then about two months ago I made an infinity switch for it too.

I love my CC. It's a very organic sounding pedal that's easy to bonds with for sure.

Make sure to remove the backplate and fiddle with the mod adjustment. It doesn' seem to do anything really at factory settings but you can get a sweet chorus sound out of it if you play with the adjustments. I have the carbon copy and love it.

Yeah man it has two little screw knobs you can fiddle with. I turned both of mine up a little and the mod is way more useful.

I just picked up a used one because I really like analog delay. I definitely see why it's so popular.

Unfortunately I'm settling on a Vapor Trail from Seymour Duncan, but that's mostly because I need the mod controls at my fingertips and really like to see the flashing tempo. From a sound standpoint, MXR nailed it.

Forward enough to add a lot of flavor but stays out of the way when it has to.

I *love* the insert jack on the Vapor Trail. I use it all the time with either a volume pedal, a phaser, and overdrive, or another delay.

Just opened mine up right after reading your post. Well I'll be damned. How did I not know this was there? I normally open all my pedals to check for batteries and such, but for some odd reason I never opened up the Carbon Copy. Being that I didn't find the modulation option of much use, this opens up an exciting new door of discovery. Thanks for sharing the info.

Sadly I'm not so sure the Deluxe has that option. It has two internal switches that I know of, but I have yet to fiddle with them.

Is it sad that I plan on getting that pedal some day only becasue I'm a Rush fan? Even worse I plan on getting the Rush booster by TCE. Just because.

I also want the Seymour Duncan Forza pedal just becasue I love the Xbox racing game Forza.
