Some of my pedals were stolen, I can't afford to replace the set, so I got this very used multi-effects unit. I like it so far, looking forward to using it next jam. Kinda handy actually.

Congrats. I've been seriously looking at the ME-80 - I'd love to hear your post jam review of how well it fits in. Have you been busy creating your presets?

No, I'm happy right now with the defaults. Maybe down the road. Will give it a work out Sunday. Right now I'm playing quietly through my little Blackstar Fly.

The reverse echo is cool, never played with that, very specialty.

I have an older BOSS ME-33 and it has gotten some laughs, but it is not a toy. Like yours, even the presets for much of it sound great.

It sounds stellar run through a great clean amp.

I have one. Love it. In fact, there's been many times where I'm tempted to do away with all of my pedals in favour of it.

If you have decent pedal-twiddling skills, then you'll have a blast with this one.

The Slow Echo (Slow Gear), and the Univibe settings are really great.

Oh, and sorry to hear about your pedals getting heisted.

    HNPD !!!

Being ripped-off is a tough, forced adjustment to have to make & live with. I hope everything settles down soon for you, & you never know, some pedals may be returned back to you in time.

Have fun with your new MFX unit ! It may be old, but I'm happy to hear it delivers the goods for you.

    All the best,

I like the knobs on this multi-effects unit.
Maybe some day I will have one, too. But not now or tomorrow.

Congrats! I have nothing but good things to say about Boss products. I have the ME-80 which is a great unit. Yours looks similar in that you can set the pedals to act in the exact same way as regular pedals (turning the effect on/off rather than selecting from a bank patch). Other than the great Boss tones, this was the main reason I got the unit. Best of luck with it.

There's one of those for sale on my local Craigslist. Thought about getting it for the heck of it. I think the seller was asking $90. Is it worth it?

    I paid $100, seemed fair.

A quick sound test to see how the Zoom records at default settings at home. Not bad, it will be good for self critique and stuff. Just noodling around (almost) clean and dirty.

It's for sequences like the first part I'd like to have that more twangy sound, so I look forward to my next Strat.

    That's a good price.
I got mine for $80, which is even gooder.

Only thing is check the footswitch before you buy. They are often broken I'm told.

New noodling, feeling out the settings.
