Could you cut down to one guitar, if so what would it be?

I don't think I could my self. I do think if I had no choice it would be my AVHR '57 Strat. But truly I think 7 would be my bottom line.

I thought I could at one point...my PRS CE 24. Then I started playing my LP again and decided nope...they all have their unique sound and feel.

I could play my white V only but I don´t want to.
I have to feed the other ones as well.

    Life is good,

    Could I? No!
    Would I want to? No!
If I had to? My Tele - it has an HB in the neck. Has always been and always will be my #1.
    Edit: pic. Post yours too!

Like you @jimbojo I don't think I can either. I have a new (to me) one on the way and I have been trying to figure out which of my current axes I can release to make room for it and I think I will have to put another hanger on the wall. All of my guitars ave been either rebuilt or modified somehow by me, have a history with me, or both. Thankfully I don't have to make that choice but if I did I would probably take some parts off of several guitars and put them on my 94 Bullet Series Strat that my parents scraped enough money together to buy me for a Christmas gift when I was in college and we, as a family, were dirt floor poor.

Same here. That Tele was my first electric and I modded it as much as I could...
Also, the story of your Squier is a touching one - I like that!

I could never willingly choose one. If I had to run from a wildfire with just one, it would be my 72 LP. And the 37 Epiphone Deluxe, and the 46 Martin.

Thank you @TangerineDog. When I modded my Tele I wanted it to really be a sleeper until I plugged it in. Everything but the wood got changed but for the most part it looks normal. New Fender locking tuners, the bridge was changed to a solid brass Hantug 6 saddle bridge but then I changed the saddles to Babicz T-Swivels, SD l'il 59 bridge, SD Hot for Tele neck, pushback wiring, 375k linear pots in both vol and tone (tone is push pull for the cool split) , and a Rockrabbit control plate that moved the volume pot back an inch and angled the switch for comfort.

Here's my brood...in which I am well pleased! L>R 2000 Gibson LP; 2013 USA Strat (yes, that's a humbucker in the bridge!); last but not least 2017 Gibson SG Standard T. It NOW has Fralin P92 pickups (highly reccommended, BTW).

It would be so hard to pick just one. But my number 1 overall is the LP. BUT as I tell almost everybody, I have 3 number 1's!

    Thanks for the post! Brian

Couldn't do it. Only have three anyway. now, If the zombie apocalypse comes, and I have to choose one guitar as a weapon for bashing undead skulls, it'd be the tele. It can take it.:D

No way could I do one. If it were a forced thing, I would have to go with my Mustang. I have had it for over 41 years and it is an old friend that I could never let go.

I'd have to say my 2016 Les Paul 60s Tribute. Love the P90s and it plays like a dream.
