    yeah I looked at them but chose the mullards. I dont think reissue tubes make all that big of a difference, and im not spending an arm and a leg for nos. man they had some preamp tubes that were over $100 apiece.
    also...regular gold lion 12ax7's are made in china and are about $26 for one.
    the premium GL 12ax7's are made in russia and are around $46 for one.

    Vintage Gold Lions are very good tubes.
    Not cheap but man they're sweet

    Coming from an audio gear point of view I'd stay away from electro harmonic, I think they're garbage, I throw the out, literally!.

    Vintage Mulladrs, Tungsrams are superior in every way. If you can, go for the vintage stuff, big difference. The NEW mullards ain't worth a dime. Vintage Tungsrasms are probably the best, as are old Mullards, Mazdas and Telefunken. Not cheap by you get what you pay for.
    No comparison, apples and oranges... My 1 cent.

    like i said, i aint spending that much for tubes for this amp. anything i put in it is an upgrade from the chinese tubes and that 70/80 speaker.
