I can do it in 30 min if needed. However, for about a year now I've been getting up an hour earlier than I need to because I like to get my news and forums read while the house is quiet and have a non-rushed cup of coffee.

If I'm motivated and don't make coffee for myself and catch-up on ST, it's about 45 minutes total to get out the door. But I never omit making coffee and checking in on ST in the morning, it's one of the best parts of my day. :thumb:

    No rush here at all.

I wake up before dawn (5.30 - 6), enjoy my espresso with a cigarette while checking the forum and other stuff. Then, I pray and read Quran. I take a nap until 8. Get my little devils ready for school, leave the house at 8.45.

Is like an hour but getting up at 515 is bad enough. Then it takes an hour to get to work as it is.

Around an hour. That includes, coffee, shower, getting dressed, doing (minimal) hair and makeup, all while making sure my son is up, dressed, having breakfast. May manage breakfast and a glance at the newspaper.

Even though I wake up like a supernova, I still like to take a little time to surf through my e-mails and the web. I get my lunch ready the night before, so all I have to do is pack it all up, feed the dogs and make a bowl of cereal before I sit down and relax for about 45 minutes. Basically I get up a little before 5:00am and am out the door at around 6:05am.

It's 6:22 and I've been on my train for a few minutes. I got in the shower at 5:50. Keep in mind I live only 1 mile from my train station.

I do tend to wake at 5 to have some coffee and check emails.

I'm fortunate in working from home, so I don't actually shower before I start work. Get out of bed at about 0850, at my desk with a coffee at about 0900. Make toast during a break about 30 mins later. Take a shower or a bath at some opportune moment later in the day.

Wake up at 4:30, leave the house at 6:00am.
I like enough time so I don't need to rush.

I'm at Langley AFB for now. Usually it's the afternoon commute that hurts for some reason. Leaving anytime after 330 for home is a big crap shoot

When I was doing chemo if it took more than 30 minutes just to get out of the bed I didn't go to work

    Fun stuff isn't it!
I discovered during my second go-round that what they say about "herbal" remedies is indeed true...it made chemotherapy tolerable. Why, I'd go as far as to say that used the night of, the next day would find me feeling human.

But this getting out of bed thing has me worn out...I'm going to take a nap.

I kept a nice thumping headache for 6 months and concentration went out the window. But in the end it worked. Hope yours does too. The big thing I found was to not try to Superman.

Uggg. The HRBT is the worst. I know you have to hate it when you work on my side of the water.

Mornings aren't normally too bad. I have a passenger so I go HOV, that gets me past the Navy base traffic. In the afternoon I take Mercury all the way to Mallory so that puts me right at the tunnel. The bad part is tunnel back to HOV again. Then 264 is fun between the ramp off of 64 to Independence. Or if 64is really hairy in the afternoon ill get off at 15th or 4th View and just go through Ocean View. Which is nowhere near as interesting as it used to be
