Pet Drumming

Chihuahuas don't make very good drums, they are a bit too small and fragile. And how can you beat on your pets with sticks? That's just cruel.

 

I used to have a Golden Lab that made quite a pleasant thud when drumming on his side.

 

Drummer Cat should hook up with Keyboard Cat.

As owner of a Beagle-Poodle mix, I can easily picture that. He is one of the most energetic dogs I have ever had.
We have him in the laundry room during this exteme cold, when we run the washer he goes crazy barking. With his sensitive hearing he must hear a real high pitched racket from that machine.

 

Wow, your pets are way more mellow that my dog, Mowgli. Every time I try to drum on him, he snarls and attacks the sticks.

 

No way, vato! Spoiled Chihuahuas are a pain in the butt (like everything else ).
People need to train Chis , like any other dog .

Don’t understand why dogs seem to enjoy being thumped on. But every dog I’ve ever had would stand there letting me thump their rump or rib cage. Even start happily panting and when I stop start nosing or pawing me like “Hey, why’d you stop? Wrestle me some more!”

You can get a really nice kick sound out of the side of a cat, behind the arm on the ribcage area.

 

I regularly drummed on my dogs belly, he used to love it - then fart loudly! ☠
