    Howdy howdy,

I'm back with another one. I got to messing around last night and decided to record this little jam. I'm a Pink Floyd fan like some of you and I really dig the song Echoes, the live at Pompeii recording being my favorite version of the song. I tried my hand at it last night. I learned it by ear a couple of years back but I always like to come back to it.

I recorded my guitar through a Digitech Rp500, I don't have an elaborate setup. It was just a quick recording.

    Here it is. :D

Edit: Used a crappy webcam to record the video so I apologize if it seems kinda slow with the framerate.

Need little more work on getting those bends precise and the rhythm sections need a little work too. But overall it sounded great!

Love the enthusiasm! Welcome to the forum if I haven't already said it :)

I should note I had to line up the backing track with the audio of my guitar. Would have been so much easier if I could have recorded both at once. I spent about an hour trying to align them to get it to sound right, still think i'm off by a second or two.

it was late and i wasn't about to spend the whole night with it. Next time I'll get it down for sure though.

Sounds good. It’s such a satisfying feeling when you nail a a Gilmour bend.

What I don't know about PF would fill a library, so, I can't tell you if that sounded like them. It sounded fine to me maybe a bit of polish...but, certainly nothing to sneeze at.

Damn dude. As a huge Gilmour geek that was very impressive. And you got REALLY close to the Pompeii tone. Well done

    Keep it up.

Very nice. The distortion might have been a little too much at some points but I'm just being picky. Like at 2:28 there's probably a little too much distortion and too much bass/not enough treble but like I said it's not really a big deal. I love this solo!

    Great playing.

    Hi! Nice tone and feel.
A bit dragging the syncopation in the last rhythm section is what I feel.
    Other than that I enjoyed.
Do yo change patches in the clip for cleaner funky rhythm?
