So I tested the waters of TGP, but I was told to remove a thread a few months ago because I said my Suhr wasn't perfect, and now I've had posts deleted for saying the Suhr Aura is a Les Paul copy.

Please can I come back to Strat Talk? I promise I'll never leave again.

    :(

Really? I don't mean wanting to hang out here again, that's cool. But deleting a thread for criticizing a product you bought?

Anyone who doesn't think the Suhr Aura is basically a Les Paul copy needs their eyes testing! :D

    Welcome back bud. :thumb:

I don't know. Is everything in good order? Including sworn copies of your re-admission forms. In triplicate??? We can't just give you the current secret handshake without the proper paperwork.........:D:D

There is a one time re admission fee. $48.95. This is recommended to be paid in check, of course you will want to make this out to me as I have just appointed myself as treasurer of Strat Talk.

Pm me for the address. Np.

Is Suhr a sponsor there? Sounds like they have some juice. I signed up there years ago but there were way too many cork sniffers for me.

    Some folks are all-about Fen-dah.

For me, it's about a guitar, not always the brand on the headstock. Just sayin'. (I love me some TDPRI, though I use a different moniker, over there.)

I’m apparently banned for life at TGP, and I swear I have no idea what I said that tripped it. But I know that I don’t care.

Yea, TGP has moderators with hair trigger fingers, and two hearts on both sleeves. Still, there's some good info and folks there, if you can tolerate the signal to noise ratio. Just don't criticize or discuss sensitive things like bbq and the weather.

Of course you can come back, but there's a simple ritual you must perform....

I got some kind of warning there at tgp year ago and it wouldn’t let me log in until I “acknowledge” that I done bad....

I think I called Rolling Stone a “liberal douchebag rag”.

Haven’t been back since, haven’t felt bad, or had any unusual rashes, or sneezing fits.

Trade in your Shure? Suhr? For a PRS Silver Sky and all is forgiven.

    No.
You speak unkindly of expensive partscasters.
Albeit (apparently) handmade expensive partscasters. And even though Aura looks every bit like an LP...you have spoken negatively.

    No soup for you.
    One year.

Ya... I try to keep my conservative bent under control when I'm in artistic forums.
I friended a guy on FB who I thought was a very good friend from years ago... he got me backstage at BadCo and Nugent, figured he was a good guy. Nope... He went completely off the handle after the election and outright called for violence against conservative voters. The guy was even offending liberals.
