Apropos of nothing much at all, I stumbled across this while looking for something else on YouTube. So I thought that one or two of you might enjoy this as well. It's best not to watch if you get very upset when someone is less than deferential about our Royal Family. ;)

Why isn't Chris Rock on our TVs all the time? Or why isn't he President?

She died on the day I was burying my father. Guess which I remember.

They closed my gym on the day of her funeral. I did suggest to them that maybe Diana wouldn't have approved of them doing that. The country went crazy for a short while. It's a shame we didn't have the wonderful Mr. Rock to give us all a sense of perspective.

To be honest, the overreaction was embarrassing, the whole country seemed to go soft in the head for months.

I agree. I'm not big on funerals at the best of times, but I remember watching 13 year old Prince Harry being forced to walk past all the gawping public behind his mother's coffin & thinking

"That's an incredibly cruel thing to force any child to do"

And years later, he spoke publicly about the the trauma that caused him. Whether you support royalty or you don't, no child should be forced into that kind of circus side show for the entertainment/satisfaction of the masses.

I've never really got into him, do you really think he's as good as Rock? I fell for Rock the first time I saw him, I'm still almost buzzing from the show he did here earlier this year.

I actually find Chappelle much funnier, have you seen his latest shows on Netflix? I'm going to see him live this Sunday.

Really? Start a thread about him. Sell him to me. I wondered about him when I saw tickets on sale earlier this year. If he comes close to Chris Rock or Trevor Noah (both of whom persuaded me to go to the dreadful O2 this year), I may be a future fan.

Funny video at times I thought it might have benefited from subtitles though, or maybe I am just getting old. We may far too much fuss about the slightest thing the Royals do I believe some minor Royal is getting married today and someone on Sky thought this was news this morning.

That means there will be even more breeding I suppose. Oh well, it keeps the BBC "news" teams in work.
