does anyone know if the g12h-75 creambacks will fit in a blues Jr?
also, speakers work well for a rock/country sound in the Jr?

Not sure but I was just about to post a thread asking for ideas on what speaker for a 1×12 cab for my blues jr iii hehe. I was thinking if I build a bigger cab I might get some more bass.:)

Mine came stock with the Jensen C12N and I really like it, sounds great for rock/blues and country. Modern Jensen's sure take a bashing on the internet but I've had nothing but smiles with them. Just gotta let them break in for a wee bit they will sound better than when brand new.

My BJ III Red October Ltd Ed came with a Redcoat Wizard which must have one of the biggest magnets around, and it fits fine.

The only one I owned for a short time was a Tweed that had the speaker swapped for a Texas Heat. I really liked how dirt sounded with that amp and speaker combo. And I thought the speaker did a nice job of taming some of the highs. Did it shave off too much high end for country? I wish I could recall. But it worked well for rock and blues. I also wish I had kept that amp. For the life of me I cannot recall why I sold it.

Hi there, I'm in the market for a new amp and someone's selling a BJ III Red October near me... how is it and how does it compare to a regular BJ (and the other amps in your tag)? I am struggling to find good demos of it.

Kelly I've seen people with cream backs to cannabis rexs in blues jrs. They get em in there somehow.

I had a BJ and put a CRex in it. Also had a Texas Heat in there for a while. No problem fitting. You may have to remove the chassis to get it in there. But any normal size speaker will fit.

I play my Blues jr through a couple different 1x12' s. One has a WGS G12Q and for Murican flavor and on with an Emminence GB128 for British flavor and it sounds fantastic with both.

Btw, one little trick to get great clean from a Blues Jr is to dime the master then slowly turn the volume up right before it starts to distort. Awesome little amp.

I run my pro Jr. In a bigger cab with a Crex and I love it, but for country is probably too dark.

I ran and C Rex in my tweed blues jr and it worked great. Very gritty.

I’m sure that Celestion would fit - the CRex was pretty big.
