    I really really really don't get relic'ing guitars. It's like adding fake wear and tear to jeans. I like to come by that you know, by wearing them. :)

    But if it makes you happy go for it.

    Welcome to Strat-Talk @Loadedguitar. Your guitar isn't going to fool anyone who knows their Fenders, but it could help to convince an audience that you've got a well-played instrument. I did some terrible things to guitars as a young man, so I'm not going to be judgemental about yours! :D

    I'm gonna say that's a bad idea. You're putting pressure on the casing of that battery and, with time, it is going to leak battery acid.

    Welcome buddy! I say that the hole near the pickguard looks kind of weird but imo the rest it’s ok.
