The row between Jimmy Page & Robbie Williams has now descended to handbags at dawn.

Two adults behaving like spoiled children - it's almost as if one or maybe both of them have an ego problem, isn't it? o_O

    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...l&utm_campaign=GuardianTodayUK&CMP=GTUK_email

Loud music can be pretty annoying, but Black Sabbath?

The correspondent adds that Williams has also dressed up to imitate Led Zeppelin’s frontman Robert Plant by “wearing a long hair wig, and stuffing a pillow under his shirt in an attempt to mock or imitate Mr Robert Plant’s beer belly that he has acquired in his older age”.

This is “embarrassing”, the letter continues, because “Mr Plant was remembered for performing with his shirt open on stage, and obviously he cannot perform in his current condition”.

Now, back to the real world where the rest of us live. .....

    That's actually a little funny.

Jimmy isn't doing anything wrong as far as I can see, he's just concerned about his property getting damaged which is fair enough. Robbie is a child.

This has been going on for a long time. I would tend to side with Jimmy (not only because I can't stand Robbie or his music) but he does own a listed building and has every right to be concerned about possible damage to his property.

Poor Robert, what did he do to deserve this? He's not even involved in the feud.

I think you might have a bit of a job to justify the claim that "He's not even involveda in the feud".

    It seems that he is.

    Who is Ribbie Williams?

If somebody was blasting LZ at me at night I'd burn their house down.

Now that I think about it, I'd burn their house down if they did that in daylight

If this Robbie guy really wants to get on Jimmy's nerves he should play his own music! I had to look Robbie Williams up. Jimmy might move if Robbie played his own music! Just sayin!

He got involved in a planning dispute with his neighbour. Whether we agree with what he did or whether we don't, getting into a dispute with your neighbor is a brave thing to do.

I think the person who said poor Robert was referring to Robert plant, not Robbie Williams, because the article (strangely written) writes that Robbie is now making fun of Robert in connection with his dispute with jimmy.

And I was so hoping a Page-Williams collaboration would be on the cards.

Actually, maybe that's what these two individuals need to blow off some steam. There's obviously a great deal of frustration there... LOL...

Exactly I was referring to the mockery of Robert Plant and that he was even mentioned in the complaint

"Mr Plant was remembered for performing with his shirt open on stage, and obviously he cannot perform in his current condition”.

Reading "Take that" and "Led Zeppelin" in the same article feels weird.
