... my youngest thinks it's perfectly normal to wake up at 4:30 AM ...

... and today I'm out of coffee ...

    ... furthermore I just read this ...

... now I think of quitting guitar playing ...

    ... I need sleep ...

Ouf! Well THAT explains my lack of co-ordination, then! Thanks! I was worried I was just hopelessly bad...:D

Which explains why I often had hammer on the door to wake our exceptionally good guitarist at 6pm in order to get him to gigs. I always thought he was just a lazy...

Well, sure I get that it is an excuse to get more sleep or guitar skills.
But people, no rockstar needs sleep at all.
Of course we are no rockstars but you can sleep when you are dead.
Get some more coffee and push the amp harder.
Get a kick out of life and enjoy your stay on planet earth.
Well, at least starting at noon xD - 4.30am is really bad and about the best time for rockstars to find some sleep after all.

Babies are brutal in many ways. Selfish little creatures changing life and the way time interacts with the galaxy.
But the cutest and most lovely things we can have being parents.
You will get better times and be honest - you never want to miss your little one.
Stay strong and send your wife xD

    Life is good,
    Robin

It's time you get some more sleep then... C'est la vie Parisienne? ;)

I can tell you it doesn't apply to drummers. Our drummer sleeps all day through and still doesn't keep the count...

Thanks... but I don't consider a 2 year old a baby. But there's probably still some truth in what you say, it's a selfish toddler...

I just notice that I've been giving my youngest the coffee, and I have a ****load of milk left...

I’ll try. Late(ish) nights are sometimes the only time I have to play and practice guitar...

Toddlers are supposed to be selfish. Parents are supposed to be selfless. Grandparents just sit here and laugh... :D

Same here. I'm lucky that I don't need much sleep, 5-6 hours a night is perfectly fine.
