    Very new to Strat-Talk. Just wanted to contribute to the love of building your own pride and joy.

    First is my latest;

    Mighty Mite body (carved koi fish with ReRanch finish)
    Allparts Baseball Bat neck
    Callaham Mexican Bridge upgrade
    Schaller tuners
    Seymour Duncan Vintage Flat SSL-2 neck pickup
    Seymour Duncan Lil' 59 bridge pickup

    This Tele is the first one I did;

    Started of as a '98 Squier, stripped it carved the image and painted and finished it with nitro.
    Everything is stock except the Seymour Duncan Lil' 59 for Tele.

    This isn't mine, but I built it with the help of the great people at Squier-Talk and we donated it to musicorps.net. The body came from Bitteroot Guitars, the neck is from an '05 Squier Affinity. The middle and neck pickups are D. Allens, bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. It also has WD locking tuners. It plays and sounds amazing. I'm very proud of this one.

    This one was basically just a neck swap. It's an '05 Starcaster with an Affinity neck. It came from the factory with alnico pickups and a 2 point trem. It's identical to the Squier Standard series. I also replaced the humbucker with one from Rose pickups and added a push-pull pot to one of the tone controls to split it. I replaced the tuners with a set form a MIA Strat. I've got about $120 into it.:D

    mkgearhead,
    that charity partscaster build is one of the most gorgeous strats i've ever seen. i might have to build myself something similar in the future.

    the other partscaster is pretty cool too. it looks like it was made for Malikon to play.

    I've been watching the seller we got the green body from and he hasn't had another one for sale. He does have 2 blue ones available right now, though.

    Dakota. And honestly, i've never been a fan of red strats, so i'm probably going to paint it. daphne or sonic blue. or maybe gold.

    And here is mine...Speaking of Tonerider pickups.
    This classic player/series mexican (with it's bridge built from peices of this, that and the other thing, but all from the junk pile) Has quickly beaten it's way through my heard of over priced, bonnified, proudly built in America.....
    To take it's rightful position that is well deserved at #1.
    It cost me all of $300.00

    I just threw this one together to see what I needed to make a few bucks out of it when I sell it. It didn't turn out that way though. It is not now, nor will it ever be for sale. In fact, I'm not going to change anything on this except the strings!
