Does Fender make a prettier combination? Might pick up this MIM tomorrow if I can being myself to part with the cash. $300 with a decent case. 2007 FSR for GC.

I'm convinced you live in some sort of CL Twighllight zone where all of the guitars are insane deals.

    I love Sienna Burst Strats!

There's been a half dozen under $350 the last week or so. We also have the guys asking $500 for mid 90s ones as well.

I think it looks great, but then again I'm biased...

IMG_2139.JPG Yes, I am certainly a Sienna Burst fan. This is my MIA, 2015 vintage, no other finish tempted me at all.

I was going to say to the OP that the only thing better is if it's paired with a maple neck. Man, this is gorgeous!

I agree abut the preference for a maple neck but that's an easy fix, and just going by the pics I have the rosewood on this one appears to be very dark, which I like. Supposed to check it out after work tonight but haven't decided for sure. I'm down to just my old partscaster at the moment, sold the crazy MIJ last night.

That’s beautiful (apart from the tort guard.... I’m not a fan.. but it’s not my guitar!!!)

Agreed, if I get it I've got a mint guard that will take it's place. Can't say I'm a fan of the white pickups either but I think a light colored guard would make all the difference as evidenced by the above pics.

ONE thing.... my sienna burst.. LITERALLY fell off the back and started popping off around the jack.

This is strat talk. so there must be a photo of it on here somewhere..

I found the ngd thread, but It looks like I didnt update it.

That was my first Fender. Just traded it for an AV 59.

Hopefully I had a fluke, but I noticed after a few years that the fretboard had a wave to it. I leveled and crowned the frets and it played so much better.

Not a knock against it though. I just did some fret work on a new 59 reissue 335. Now that’s unacceptable. I am proud of myself though. I leveled, crowned, and polished the frets in under 45 minutes. That investment in tools is starting to pay off.

Great strat though. But most of the time I had it I had different parts and used the neck on another guitar.
