Nothing found specifically for my day—11/16/1969—but I found some generic stuff for the month/year:

Then again, I must admit smoking is my one last bad habit. Although I've decided the time to quit is fast approaching and I've been under no illusion it was good for me!
And I'll tell you, there's an 83 year old doctor in here(11:14) who's a far, far braver man than I. He's driving a Pinto!

last week i had to help a young Assistant editor capture some TV footage from 1991. I made some comment about the Maury Povich show not realizing how young he is and he replies that he wasn't even born yet. If that wasn't enough to make me feel old he then asks me if TV was big back then?

Here's a purely useless trivia fact. My mother and Melanie Griffith were both the same age when I was born: 15
It was definitely Diana Rigg's portrayal of Emma Peel that made sure this boy was on the 'straight' and narrow. At around 12 years old, I wasn't entirely sure what those stirrings were, but she was absolutely gorgeous.
Having looked at some of the early B/W shows again, there's a surprising amount of kinky stuff in there. Lots of shiny catsuits and more than a whiff of S&M in a lot of the plot lines. I can't imagine anything like it being broadcast today.
Well...I think I'll shut down for the night. I'm not certain I can handle knowing more than that in one day.
