<SOLVED>No Sound PRRI 65 Need Help

    Fuses do not heal themselves just by turning the amp off for a while my friend!

    Note that installing a SS recto may kick up the amps V+ voltage above what the power supply filters are rated at!

    Rectifier tube not inserted all the way? bad connection maybe.
    But at all means give it to a tech.
    Be warned that can be a hard to find bug. Ask him/her to get a price for the repair before doing the job.

    This same thing happened to mine. It was a loose connection in the plug at the end of the speaker wire. Did you already try wiggling it around in the jack?

    Now that I think about it, this could be it. Amps been working fine for a few days now, but this was the one thing I actually messed with before it came back to life.

    I would change that wire.
    I would not risk it. Clean the jack with some contact cleaner as well.
    Bad cable/jack can kill the amp/output transformer straight.
