    Congrats!
    I had a 100w in the ‘80s. They’re ridiculously awesome.

Very cool, those real ones are rare. Modded by one of the BIG names back then.
I bet it sounds absolutely KILLER \m/
We need some sound samples or a video if possible.
Congrats and trust me it is a way bigger find than you think.

    I want one.

I forget to mention it is the limited 1982 series in white. Wow, wow, wow.
If it is from 1982(50W only 2204) it is from the limited series. If it was built in1983 it was normal production but there are not many on the market and esp. not in that great condition.
In any way my guess is the two runs aren´t more than maybe 200 together. Most of them didn´t survived - or maybe a hundred?

    All the best,
    Robin

Very cool in white. Guess how many I have seen in white in Australia?

    NONE.

I am a gumtree ebay gearlist for sale nut .. always looking for vintage marshals. And iwas around when these jcm800s were not vintage and never saw one.

So regardless how lucky you were they are rare.

I have a 1983 50 watt combo and a 1978 super lead 100watt head and a cab. Wonderful amps. Yours is the channel switcher right? Modified to fix the fault where clean channel had over tones of the distortion channel these are fantastic amps. Either yours does not have that fault or its been moded to fix it and some is my guess.

What I want is one of the old jmp 50 watt combos. To complete my collection. I will keep looking ;)

20th Anniversary series confirmed by Marshall. Just a handful of white ones made in 1983 for the Anniversary series to finish the run.
The white tolex Marshall JCM800 is the only white one made with rocker switches and as 2203 and 2204 (100w/50W).

Some made by Marshall in white tolex in 1983 but without rocker switches and esp. for Canada with round switches and the extra fuse pcb.

Including the Lee Jackson mod it is a unique beast and the almost mint condition seem to make it one of a kind.
I would keep that one for the rest of my life.
It is a keeper for sure.

    Life is good,
    Robin
