Okay, I know there are some trekkies lurking here so please help me..

Just completed episode 13 and Captain Lorca has revealed himself as the bad himself from the alternate universe. So...
Have any of these questions been answered and I just missed it ?
    * How did he get to our Universe
    * Where is our good Lorca
    * How did he figure he was ever getting back to the bad universe
    Also..
    * Burnham grabs Georgiou and transports back to Discovery and they take her home. Considering she is the evil ***** emperor of a warlike race that rules her Universe is she now gonna be all goody-two-shoes and get a start fleet command.

I must say I am finding the plot far too complicated and much prefer simpler stories where one can just sit and enjoy. Time travel/Alternate universes have never really done it for me..

It's been a few years since I watched Enterprise, but yeah, it does explain how he got there and all of the other stuff. Did you miss some episodes?

Oh, and I have 2 Strats. They are both nice.

Just watched the 14th & 15th episodes. So they give the most powerful ship in the federation to a lunatic empress from another universe. Really, dudes ?

Then I don't suppose you cared for the way Star Trek: Enterprise ended. :(

I've forgotten how it ended actually. Its being repeated on TV at the moment but they mess around with it so much that its not worth it.

Yeah, I just googled the ending and remembered.
Don't get me started on the holodeck.

It didn't live up to its potential as a show. The whole deal with the holodeck in the ending I think was them wanting to show how the Federation started and that being the intended end point of the series, but it was cut off after only 4 seasons. So, they scrambled to find a way of putting that in. This was the first Trek since the original that was cancelled before being wound down by the producers.

I actually really liked that series (and was totally in love with T'Pol) but any one that owns a Beagle knows you can't keep one on a starship without a fairly decent pooper-scooper.
For me though, the holodeck, alternate universe, time travel are all themes that you fall to when you can't think of anything else. It's like the herrendous horror story that ends in.....oh, it's only a dream.

Wasn't that the case year ago in Dallas that a character came back from the dead and.....wait for it.....It was all just a bad dream (insert holodeck, alternate universe, time travel). I guess I like my sci-fi of the more swashbuckling type, or maybe a decent story that just happens to be set 300 years in the future. Just me I guess.

This I totally agree with, and part of why I thought the Kelvin timeline was a total turd. It's just lazy writing. Plus, JJ Abrams sucks.
Sometimes though it's good, such as the "First Contact" TNG movie or "City on the Edge of Forever" in TOS. Time travel wasn't the whole point, but rather was "gotten out of the way" so that the real plot could happen.

    ^ Yes.

Yes, Enterprise was just finding itself as it was cancelled. Sad. At least Trip is gone for good, never really bought his character. Quite a few shows end a bit before their time, like Enterprise, or Farscape, even most excellent Babylon 5.

Yes, less time travel, MORE GORN!

Full disclosure: I have owned two Strats, but do not currently own one. That is all.
