I love this tune, I’ve heard it so many times throughout my childhood. Original version has acoustic guitar, and I think I like the Strat version better. Candy Dulfer and Ulco Bed on guitar! (I think my European friends will certainly recognize this tune, and for you who haven’t heard it yet, enjoy it for th me first time)

She's Dutch, but apparently she speaks German as well.
The original was with Dave Stewart from Eurythmics. I don't think it was with an acoustic, as mentioned earlier.
Her father was also a very good sax player...

The sax and guitar sound awesome. On a side note, the drums sound muffled to me. They distracted me a bit.

Ulco can seriously wail when he gets a chance. He has been a major inspiration and influence from me since I saw Candy's band first time when I was about 14 years old (and Candy was only 18) in the early eighties.

    Dear Strat Cognoscenti,

I'm hoping for some help! I so far cannot get my Strat to produce that wonderful tubular and glassy sound the player in that wonderful video gets :(. I am not able to use a decent amp due to my domestic arrangements so I use Amplitube 4 with headphones. I've tried clean amps, crunchy amps, lead amps, jazz amps etc etc ad frustratam.

My MIM 50's FSR Strat has been modified by me to feature Tonerider "City Limits" in place of the Fender AlNicos. These are intended to replicate the Texas Blues sound. The treble is a little diminished and the midrange/bass slightly enhanced over the standard pickups.

Any advice on settings for the Strat/Amplitube?

    Yours in frustration,

    Scimmy.
