    Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a used strat...They put laser sensor pickups... Everything else looks good, but there's no serial number. Anyone able to give details on this? I assume the neck was replaced, and looks like a legit neck from fender.

Hopefully some of the gurus that know much more than I will chime in, but it better be a screaming good deal with a replacement neck, no serial number, and no other identifying markings than that.

Partscaster.....Squier body, non offset back tremolo cover screw holes....

The neck could be a modded MIJ/USA joint venture model.....but those usually had a serial on the headstock face.....

    hard to tell....

    how much is it?

$250, but then realized it has no serial number... Without that, I'd do it for much much less.

Think about it....the neck, the pickups....it's worth it.....even without a serial....

That neck is Fender Mexico or Japan/USA .....it's not fake....

The body looks from an Affinity Squier Strat to me....judging by the saddles....could also be 90s Fender Japan/ or Fender Mexico early 90s.....I'd need to know the spacing at bridge saddles to pinpoint it for sure - 2 1/16" or 2 7/32"

Okay I need a measurement from high E to low E string, center to center sorry....

bent steel saddles so not an Affinity....

Are you sure there's NO serial number? is there anything on the back of the neck near the body join? or on the neck plate?

Could be early mim standard with the serial somehow removed

That's what I was thinking. Looks like 2 1/16th spacing if I am deducing the reading on the tape measure right.

Wrong saddles but those could have been changed...

I keep forgetting older MIMs had the same 60s transition logo as MIJ ST-357's/362's....

Then again looking at it, it looks like the strings are spread wonky at the E,A D, saddles. @Guitarmageddon Ryan you got that big screen monitor, what does the saddles say on them?
