Why have you not included one of the most popular Strat pickups ever, made consistently since the 1980s - which is more than can be said for any Fender pickups - the Seymour Duncan SSL-1. An excellent pickup.

Also, my equal first choice would be the original version of the AVRI pickups, the ones used in the AVRIs from 1982 till 1998. Must nicer (fatter & warmer) than the later 57/62s, IMHO. Why aren't they an option?

Also, the plastic bobbin alnicos used in the American Standards for decades until they were replaced with Fat 50s (2012?) were quite popular too.

Perhaps you should start again with a more complete list?

Ahhh...I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with any in your list.
I like the ones in my 64, followed quite closely by Fralin's and Van Zandt's in a couple other guitars I have...these two being quite similar to the 64.

I did have a set of Seymour's in a hardtail back in the late 80s-early 90s that were wonderful...but I sold them along with the guitar and I don't remember what specifically they eere

A lot depends on what amp I'm gonna play thru...
But I sure do like the EJ pups thru a nice deluxe reverb

I’ve only played the Tex mex on that list. Favorites are the neck and mid in the classic series 50s strats.

Bridge pickup ideally would be something warmer.

    None of the above.

I play Strats with 12" radius boards so I have no use for anything with "vintage staggered" poles.

I use Bare Knuckle Apaches ordered with flat poles and metal base plates.

I voted for Texas specials, because that's the only Fender set I have. I have strat and tele pickups by Dimarzio, Lollar, Fralin, Seymour Duncan, and Fat Pups. Have fun trying them all, and there's not one that I don't like. Including the Texas specials.

You should change the title of this thread to, “What is your favorite Fender pickup?” Instead of just listing every pickup for sale on Fender’s website, you could have at least done a little bit of research.

There isn't any one fave. What sounds good in the guitar? What sounds good for what you play?

My favorites are either Classic Stacks, Five-Twos, or Antiquity II Surfers.

The friggin “LIST” didn’t even MENTION,for a choice, the 54’ pure vintage-limited edition- only “1954 sets made”, these should be top of the list, being that their supposedly the closest thing made with Alnico 3’s??to the first year 1954 Fender Stratocaster!!

Unfortunately, you guys were left off the list instead of at the top of it.

Neither of my favorite Fender pickups are available over the counter :(

My favorites are the 1955 hand wound Alnico 3s relic set in my Limited Edition Custom Shop strat then closely followed (very closely :)) by the "Vintage" single coils in Classic 50s MIMs ;)

    I second the Five-Twos.

That's 2 for them, 1 for Texas Specials but they were mentioned one more time and the rest is all over the place - as it should be.

For the purposes of a poll though, these two are at the top of the list with the 5-2s in the lead.
