    In the USA!
I’ve had more than my share of Strat pickups over the years, including aftermarket boutique and custom-made, and I think the Fender 57/62s and the PV ‘65s are the best out there.

  2. Mine aren't on the list either. At the bridge I like the SD Little 59 (HB), and at neck/middle, the AxesRUs Red Mag (SC) is a beautiful sounding pup.

What's the purpose of the poll? Are you looking to buy new pups? If you tell us what kind of sound you want, some of the more knowledgeable guys on here can probably recommend something.

Presumably it was sponsored by Fender? Otherwise why else would anyone leave off all the various other pickup makers & just offer the choice of Fender products?

Ridiculous. Ask stupid questions & you inevitably end up with stupid answers.

Seriously, that was just a rude, unnecessary comment. Not everybody is as brilliant as you.

Really, it's not rude at all, just a common day to day saying here. "Silly questions do not deserve a serious answer" is another way of putting it.

Ignore him. He’s just a troll. He’s on my ignore list and you could do the same which literally renders him non-existent on the forum to you. :) I made the mistake of clicking “view ignored content” because I’ve never had to ignore anybody before(that won’t happen again!)! Lol!

No, it was absolutely very rude.

I swear boys.......some of y’all needed your mommas to teach you better manners.

We'll have to disagree. You boys are awfully sensitive aren't you?

It's not rude at all. And nobody said I was "brilliant" - I certainly didn't. It's simply that to only include Fender products in the poll makes the poll pointless. Why exclude Seymour Duncan? DiMarzio? D Allen?

It makes no sense whatsoever, that's not rude it's common sense.

So your much professed loyalty to D. Allen pickups has suddenly gone out of the window? Well that didn't take long....

Many Various SD's and stock noiseless Fender single coils are growing on me a bit.

Nah, it’s called common decency. Treating others as you’d want to be treated. Respect. Being a good man.

Are those things “uncool” or “being sensitive” to you?

That's a very un-Christian thing to say about somebody else. I shall pray for your forgiveness.

Calling grown men boys is considered an insult here, just in case you didn't know. Respect will given, where it is due. Fools will not be suffered gladly.

I’m not that picky about my pickups anymore. :D I went through a stage in the past where I was constantly swapping pickups in and out of guitars. Now I buy guitars with the intention of leaving the stock pickups in them.

Currently I have a 2016 EJ (maple) and a 2017 AmPro (rosewood). I like the EJ pickups and the V-Mod pickups. I have the V-Mods set lower than my EJ pickups to mellow them out a bit. I give the EJ’s a slight nod over the V-Mod’s but that probably has more to do with the fact that I like everything better about the EJ Strat. The beefy neck profile and 12” neck profile make it fun to play. It is my favorite guitar. I firmly believe every guitar sounds better when it’s fun to play. That’s just my theory.

Well it wasn’t meant as an insult, around HERE it’s almost a term of endearment.

And, are you saying I’m not due respect and calling me a fool? Really? Boy, you ARE a bowl full of sunshine aren’t you?

How about you go ahead and reread my last post and answer IT instead of instantly insulting me? I guess you are one of those sad people who take out their anger on the internet. How brave of you. You know, you’ll never get the love you so obviously need and crave by acting the way you do. Your behavior is self destructive, “just in case you didn’t know”. ;)

I suggest you do the same. I wasn't insulting you, you weren't insulting me, but we could both read the posts that way, if we wanted to.

I don’t know man. I’m not into all the drama. You be grumpy I guess if that’s what you want. But, you’re gonna do it on my ignore list too. You and Stratman can hang out there together. You deserve each other.

Good knowing you - I’ll never read another thing you write. Peace.
