I've used toothpicks to pry from the side of the ball end in the trem block. That usually works.

My experience with Fender Bullets is that they tend to stick more solidly than ball-end strings. I won't use them any more for that reason.

Use a piece of low E should push out the stuck ball end from the thinner string....

Poke a round toothpick through the hole from the top.
I carry one in every guitar case with my spare strings.

A short piece or even just the end of the low E string works like a charm for this.

Never had a problem with this on my strat, but on my PRS CE 24, the B string will get stuck. Toothpick worked best for me.

Grip the string with a pair of needlenose pliers right above the saddle and just push it on through.

I've NEVER had either the ball-end or the bullet-end stick in the trem block.
That being said, both of my Strats are MIA ( one is a '95 Strat-Plus the other is a 2004 Am Std ). Does that make a difference? I dunno. Maybe.

I'm not sure the county of origin has anything to do with it. I have had a Squier strat for 15 years and I have never had a ball end get stuck. I've never tried the bullets though.
