I know right? My Minolta SRT-102 was all manual, match needle. I remember the first AF systems coming out, somehow that turned me off. It was around then I transitioned into 2 1/4 briefly. The images were great!

But I really didn't gel with whole thing, so I quickly adopted the Polaroid SX-70 as camera of choice. I loved the 'limitations' of it. I used that for a long time, until of course Polaroid closed production of that format. Luckily, The Impossible Project brought it back to life, but I've since caved in to digital. Not as a hobby though, music gets all my hobby time now.

However, with the Impossible Project, I might just pick up another SX-70.

    Yes

The other option is it was one of those flashbacks they've always been promising me.

Glad to have spent this memorable time here with you all! I just got into photography, mainly because my wife is a photographer. She was the mastermind behind yesterday's Moon shots. I'm just crawling really.

Yesterday this strange thing happened. After the total eclipse of the Moon, the sky, which had been crystal clear, suddenly turned reddish. A fog came from nowhere, and a red light was emanating from the sky, making the fog reddish as well. I suppose it was the red light from the Moon. But I could see no Moon!

I waited about half an hour, and out of frustration went to bed. I woke up an hour later and the full Moon was in all its glory on the sky, yellowish, just like it was before.

Thankfully @Bowmap and @StillAlive&Well provided some amazing shots of the Red Moon.

My pics were shot with a Nikon D3500, Nikon 70-300 DX Lens at 300, AF mode on, ASA at 4000 and hand held darn it.

I went outside to take a look, and I went "ooh ahh" and went back inside, not impressed. Now a total solar eclipse, those are cool.

We got a few shots last evening.
I'm not up to speed with my wife camera and would have preferred to go with manual settings but alas, that was above my pay grade.

Great photos! It was a red or orangy moon here next to the Gulf of Mexico at 11PM when I was moon gazing.

It was abnormaly cold here and I did freeze off my ....
Sadly my lense was constantly freezing over for whatever reason - I still don´t know.
Anyway I got some way better pics like that but I can´t put them up here due to some sort of copyright things(in a good way).
This was my test shot through some wicked looking trees and bushes.
Obviously exposure time was some seconds too long - but man was that moon dark.
