I was behind this guy on my way to work yesterday. I had to turn off and I didn't get to see it from another angle. That color, Wow!

Looks similar to the candy red that I was originally going to use on the Genesis guitar build.

That one looks like it had a gold base whereas mine was silver.
    Beautiful color either way.

    Gold underneath sounds right.
I think I'd call it Black Cherry.

That is also one tough color to shoot. One NEEDS to be on his game for sure.

I have his plate number. I could hunt him down and find out who did the paint.

Looks very close to the color on my Roadking, it has a Gold flake under the red and looks spectacular in the sunshine, it’s what sold me on that color when I ordered it. Patriot Red Pearl love that color. The fenders on that old Ford pickup look like they might be Black Cherry

Very popular on street rods especially on chopped 50 Mercury's.

Two colors, the fenders (and presumably the running boards) are painted a different color. Appears to be an F-100.

Looks like Cherry Cola!! I love it!!

Also those model trucks come in a 5 window, where there are two 90 degree shaped windows in each of the cab corners in the rear.

Edit: Sorry that's actually the Chevrolet models of the same year period.

    Love those old Ford pickups!

There's a guy up here who has an early 50's (53?) F250 that is restored. Original color red, cream grille. softer and not so shiny, flathead V8, manual, hub caps on cream wheels, IMMACULATE CHROME!

Also a guy owns a '55 Chevy 5 window hotrod truck.

C7 drivetrane, 4 tip center exhaust, bright red, some chrome removed, all chrome under hood (can't hardly tell its an engine)- restomod I think. Modern chrome rims, directional tires, staggered widths.
