The palatial studio where we record:
Go Daddyo Boyo!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Oh, hey, missed your comment. Thanks a bunch. We are having fun, hope it sounds like it.
Wow, cool stuff man.
I want more.
Is it time to get a Live Band together ?
We have more stuff in the works but little time to work. We would both love to play this stuff live and I think it would go over well since it mostly is about the grooves. Is it legal for a Dado and an underage Boyo to play in a bar?
Yes. You ever heard of the Spanic Boys? Father and son band.
And those songs are more than just grooves.
Sounding good man, glad to finally hear you guys \m/
Freaking great T-Day gift for all of us! I really dig this, engaging overall sound and well played, solid vocals, nicely written and thought out lyrics, this is some really nice work by both of you. Super glad to have finally gotten to hear what you've been working on for the past while.
Great stuff! Listened to all of them, you guys have something going there!
In home studio - $XXXX
Food and drink for the session - $XXX
Father and Son making music together - Priceless
Hellofa job guys, very cool stuff!
Nice work guys !!!
Very cool Dado! You guys rockin’!
Man that was awesome. It has to be gratifying to do a project like that with your son.
@sam_in_cali Thanks, sam. Finally is a great word. It's all because of this: Hofstadter's Law: It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
@CigBurn Your comments mean a lot coming from you. You and I have a lot in common musically even though I don't get much time to pursue some things. You, boyo, me, it's good songs we want. Thanks.
@Cerb Thanks a lot. It is a "something." Might figure out what at some point.
@TheDuck Priceless for sure, buddy. One out of the three is all 11r which is all your fault. We may veer heavier at some point and I will call on you for tone help.
@Groovey Appreciate you giving us a listen. Thanks.
@Electgumbo Thanks sir. In the future we hope to smush genres enough to let boyo take a bow. He can sound like Marcus Miller having a musical argument with Les Claypool. Would be nice to get some funky on.
@Bodean Thanks, it is gratifying. Must be gratifying to be you, though, what with your ability to pick up art/craft stuff and run with it.
You've come a long way, @Dadocaster, and it's all down to the hard work you've put in honing your recording and production techniques. It wasn't me who put in the hours learning how to get a good drum sound in a home studio, or how to get a final mix that sounds raw but like the finished article. That was you and Boyo. Thank you for the generous name check, none-the-less. All power to Dado/Boyo!
You are over modest simoncroft. I think you help so much that you don't realize the full extent.
Come say hi on Facebook at Dado/Boyo
