Im just having some fun with you, Im still quite new to the 11R. :D

Hmm, headroom isnt an issue so far, I dial in the dirt with preamps, its not amp breakup. Each setting / preset has its own independent level control, separate from the 11Rs master output control.
That could be whats causing the low volume and low head room.

I havent really worked through all the presets or amps. I tend to pick a couple and stick with them. Though I do go off exploring, and get lost, LOL.

The Plexi Marshalls are my favorites so far, I havent touched the Fenders. I like the Soldanos for high gain leads, but they're too mushy and loose for heavy riffing. They are more like a Satriani / Vai tone.
The Bogners handle middle of the road stuff pretty well, especially the light breakup tones.

I'll check that out the next time I'm using my 11R. It's fun to explore, but I try to avoid wasting time just fiddling with tone. You do have to do it occasionally :).

I've discovered the joy of getting my dirt some the amp gain, so that will be my next adventure. I'll probably start out with the Plexi Marshalls. Or I may just record my amp with my new mic I got to mic up at band gigs.

Nontraditional Blues Jam, or something like that.

I guess its more like a Bonamasaa /Moore type Rock / Bluesy jam thing ..... or something ...

Had a listen back through some of you content, @TheDuck and you're really flying here. That 11r is sounding really nice :thumb:..

That was good to hear- anyone who says you can't have feeling and play fast should listen to that. Nice legato lines in there and a nice throaty vibrato too.
blues can get played out but that was a different take on it and it's cool

    Subbed - I don´t know I didn´t already. I thought I did months ago. Maybe that´s another YouTube thing.
Anyway, great playing and great tone.

    Life is good,

    Thanks @Twelve8, @mshivy and @Robins

I have to admit, the more I use the 11R, the more I love it. Its the only piece of digital gear thats taken away my insatiable need to own a tube amp.
And yes, I will do more of these types of tracks. :thumb: Thanks!

Thanks, and yea, I agree with you. Blues, at least in the traditional sense is great, but it starts to bore me after a time. Giving it a modern twist works well, at least to my ears.

If anyone subs to my Youtube and I dont return the favor, please send me a PM / email or something and I defintely will.
Im usually doing five things at once these days and I sometimes forget things.

I used this for this weeks Jam, and decided to put it here too.

Trying out my tweeked Eric Johnson clean tone preset
Minute or so intro, then the band comes in.

I left in the "oops" and "WTF" moments, 'cause they're funny :p

A fond and fitting farewell to my N3 pups. So bittersweet :( :)

Here's a Joe Bonamassa inspired jam.

Well, we all know EMG pick up suck. They are even worse than Fenders noiseless pups.
Ok, I'll be serious now, LOL.

Anyways, I'm still in the learning stage with these new electronics, and they are very different from conventional Fender guts.
So, I though I'd try a dirty Texas style Blues tone.

It's rough, and needs some polish, but I wonder what they naysayers will say?

Sounds good to me, always takes me a while to work out getting the sounds I want from new gear. You seem to be well on your way though.
